BIO

Dr. Watchman has been a practicing clinical psychologist for over 25 years. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from Cornell University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and earned her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Miami. Her clinical training and work experience has been diverse, including a stint at Bellevue Hospital and the Manhattan Veterans Administration Hospital in New York and later, several years as a staff psychologist at the JFK Medical Center in New Jersey in the Center for Behavioral Health providing diagnostic assessment and outpatient psychotherapy. 

 

Dr. Watchman has worked extensively in private practice in New Jersey, treating individuals with anxiety, panic disorder, depression, relationship issues, achievement issues, stress, grief and loss, infertility and adjustment disorders. She offers individual and couples therapy with the broad goals of increasing self-awareness, building self-esteem, improving management of and reducing stress, and increasing satisfaction and achieving success in personal and professional relationships.  Dr. Watchman's psychotherapy treatment is tailored to the unique needs of the individual.
